Andrew, read his whole post. He said he plans on going brushless by November.

Here's a video of my baby.

I will post updated pics later, that video is a few weeks old now.

yup ^^ Jae should be known as "mr. detta". I don't think anyone has more driving time with the detta than him. I've had a detta from the very start (christmas 2005), and since then, I've seen more quality research done by jae than most factory teams put together. He is the guy to listen to as far as dettas go. take his advice.

oh and here are mine... The pics are old, but I'm sure they look familiar to some.

ok, i orderd a gh4700 and a mamba 25 and it should be in the hobby shop in a week. now, i'm wanting to know if there is a li-po charger for under or around $50 OR what nimh batts will fit and be enough power to run the brushless setup.

if it isnt mentioned in the thread i wont remember.. you arent the only person whose questions i answer,,, i answer questions from several different sites and i dont have a tablet in front of me telling me what each person has.. and i will keep asking if it is not mentioned

by the way with the gh4700 and the vendetta ST.. watch your motor temps.. and you may want to gear it at 16/41 or maybe 16/45 the tires are a lil big and the gh4700 will get hot..

this is why i only recommend the gh3600 or the ammo and permax for the ST because they all have the power to push the larger tires..

once again.. just watch the temps.. if it works fine stick with it..

You can hold off with Nimh, but Lipo (or more preferably Limn) is really the way to go. With my Pro-pulse 1200 mah battery (decent battery), my Permax/Quark 33 is just about as fast, or a little bit faster than other Vendetta buggys with VR3 motors at my track. I just got an IB1400 that I will specially break in to see if it's a little better then the Pro-pulse battery. With my 2s 2200 mah Limn, the thing just hauls! It will pull rolling wheelies like nothing...
