I don't like the ESC that my RC18R has and I was wondering if there is anything better that I could buy to replace it. What about a Novak ESC ?

By the way..... is there any brushless conversion for this car ?

I have a NOvak Spy in mine and it runs well.

Lots of brushless systems out there. Mambas are the most common I've seen.

anyways,,, ive heard that spys are good i have a lrp micro quantum reverse A.I. and its bombproof.

i think.... cause just to see i put my vendetta lipo on the rc18 and it worked perfectly.

The stock esc will handle lipos but does not have a cutoff so you have to buy a regulator so you don't drain your lipos too far and ruin them.

If you are looking brushless, the Tekin 6800 works perfect in the rc18 series, not too much power and controllable.
