Thats what I was referring to, as long as the price is competitive and reasonable I will definately hope to pick one up. As for the motors... sintered rotor possibility..?

We are paying 120 dollars up to 135 dollars for the mamba,s, I would gladly give up to and maybe more than 200 dollars for a sensored novak system. I cannot wait, its like i am 10 years old on christmas morning and they are making me wait till after dinner to open gifts. When can we pre-order.

I don't see how that would be easily accomplishable given the motor is not made in China, and its not just using shrinkwrap without heatsinks to cover the electronics.
Try to look at it this way Keith, to really use a Mamba effectively you want the Mamba link which adds an additional $20 to the Mamba purchase. When the mamba was first released, it was 159. So you were looking at $180 to get a complete setup for the highest rated mamba. It's unrealistic to look at mamba pricing now since their volume since then have allowed it pricing to drop in retail.

I would hope that it wouldn't cost more than the mamba.

The rotor(s) will be sintered.

This should work great. I would love to run one in a Vendetta ST. As stated above, if we could see shaft sizes in 2mm and 2.3mm it would be great. 3.2 would be more versatile, but 2.3 would still work great for a lot of the newer, bigger minis.

RE: Novaks Sensored Brushless System.
I have some additional motor information:
~We will offer the motor in a range of Kvs similar to the SL motors. The motors will also be defined by turns. The Kvs will not be identical to what's available, but they will be close.
~Since we make our own motors, we can offer them in whatever Kvs users need--within reason. Our 540-size motors are presently offered in 10+ winds (Kvs), with more to come.
~The can size is standard 380. We will be uploading photos and can dimensions, soon. We will have 2 rotors---the existing 2mm and 2.3mm.
~Just like our other motors, these new ones will be user-rebuildable, repairable, upgradeable and exchangeable. We will offer replacement parts thru distribution.
I don't have much speed control info available, at this time---although the micros will be similar in features to our existing BL controllers. As soon as we receive our case parts, we can upload a photo.

Don't suppose you could offer a option part for a coupler of 3.2mm? The quality or quantity of pinions in those sizes just isn't there to stand up to brushless abuses for some vehicles. Xrays in example will have to use composite pinions if you only have those two shaft sizes, while as been noted, dtx people will have to use the dtx pinions which are poorly made and do not last under brushless power.

ORIGINAL: ferrarimk13...lol, i cant wait to see the speed controller.
I've seen the bare-boards version, but I want to see the controller in its case.
When we get the case and HS, we can add a photo of the esc along with a clearer photo of the motor to the blurb on the web-site.

RE: Novaks Sensored Brushless System.
I know this is a newbie question, but my MLST is the first RC I have owned. Will the Mongoose Micro Brushless System drop into a Mini-LST using the stock radio receiver? Does it have the correct can/shaft size?
