Daniel, i know you personally, and i think this applies:
"I've seen plenty of guys who cannot navigate a single lap without crashing - yet they are still looking for ways to increase speed/power and somehow think they are losing because their car isn't fast enough."

lol that was me too when i first started. it was 1/18th carpet off road that got me into the hobby. and is still my fav. my first car was a mamba brushless mini baja with a graphite chassis and airtronics servo. and i crashed into every darn thing in sight. lol. but i think that learning to drive that car first and getting good ad driving a car that dosent turn and has to much power made me a better driver in the long run, cause when i first raced my factory team 18T i took first. just cause i was use to driving an uncontollable car,and when i drove one that was easy to drive...i did very well. it has a mamba and a trinity cobalt motor...and with the 4wd.... comparied the the mini-t its like a porche 911 vs 92 civic hatch back lol. and when i get the novak when it comes out...the 18t will be even more smooth and managible
