Whats the fastest rebuildable brushed motor?
Well I was wondering what the fastest brushed motor is. I have a Vendetta ST and I was looking to make it go a little faster. I will be getting a brushless setup closer to December. But for now Im looking for a motor that is fast and I can change the brushess, springs etc... Any ideas?

Funny you have one of the fastest motors already! Just time your VR-3 and its almost as fast as a brushless.

The VR3 is not rebuildable!
-You cannot replace the brushes
-You cannot (well easily) retrue the comm.
*Edit the Graupner Race 400 though you can replace the brushes at least. The non race version is closed endbell

we have already pointed out that it is not rebuildable. why do you say that like they said it was rebuildable and you are a master tech that works for duratrax and has to prove his point.

Anyhow, neither of those will work. They have a smaller diameter shaft.

RE: Whats the fastest rebuildable brushed motor?
You need a 2.3mm or 3.17mm shaft on the motor. The only rebuildable 380/400 size motors I know of are the LRP shark motors in Europe. You will have to import them if you want one. other than that, you are stuck with your run of the mill grauper 400 motors or a Rad 400 (which I can't find anymore... [])
