Default rc18r upgrade

hey guys, im new here. i just saw someone post something about this too but i didnt think it'd hurt if posted a new thread.
i have a 18r and looking to upgrade. i need links basically cuz i dont know of any 1/18th upgrade sites. i have a budget but i know itll be kinda expensive. im guessing it goes 25mph right now and im hoping to get it going faster, but controlable.will 7.4(1250nah) volt li-poly give it the boost i want? [link=http://www.atomicmods.com/Products/Reedy-ASC292-Mini-Modified-19-Turn-Motor__13429.aspx]reedy19turn[/link] with lipoly will that motor run on stock electonics?

thanks guys

welcome, yes that should run on the stock electronics, i would advise a heatsink on the ESC though to play it safe, other than that I think it should be controlable at higher speeds, I have heard that with those motors, you can hit 30+ (in an 18MT), as for the lipo, try going a LITTLE higher in amps, will thank you later[8D]

ill look into a heatsink also
