Default anyone got a radar gun?

What is the speed of the xray m18mt and m18t rtr out of the box? Anybody clocked it yet?

you can get within a few tenths of a MPH with a stopwatch and a tape measure...

Estimate stock 370 brushed motor at 7.2v on the stock pinions 9T - 12T probably gets 15 to 20mph depending on the pinion and tyre diameter. Which is fine for messing around, a little lacking for more adventurous jumps though.


Any power system upgrades geared for more than 35mph really only controllable in a straight line.

what about a cammera and a tape measure, you can calculate the "peak" speed that way, just a thought, also considered "chasing" it in a car, that is what I did, my mom drove her mini van in a parking lot, I had a friend as a "spooter" and i drove the car, the 18MT (kindof used battery and kindof old motor) colocked about 20-25 MPH [8D]

ill think ill take my nitro out this weekend(if weather allows) and chase it and see how fast it goes. i think it does about 30 on a good tune

yeah, it was a super crude test, heck, it was funny though, next thing you know, 5...10...15...20.... OH NO, NOT A BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM (crash)
