microt t chassis carbon fiber
Here is my work so far on a custom CF chassis for the micro t.
I had a small left over piece of CF and decided to make a CF chassis. My original plan was to lengthen the chassis to make a RWD touring car, but the piece i had wasn't long enough.
The added length will make the wheelbase about 1/2 inch longer, or about equal to the new DT micro.
I plan on cutting a top support also.
I kinda copied the idea from the Exo T chassis.
My end plan will be to replace the stock batterry with the Losi lipo, and put in all new electronics. i have been having lots of problems with the stock elecs.
i have a GWS servo and a small hitec to try, but I was having problems with the servo saver transfer. the screw type does not transfer from one to the other. any ideas guys?
I will also put in an old robitronic mini ESC. here are the pics of the conversion to date.
i cut the chassis directly behind the front servo plate holes and will use them to secure the from suspension assembly to the chassis. the rest of the stock chassis will go the way of the Dodo bird.
