Default Can't get my Mini-T oil-filled aluminum shocks to seal.....

What's up everybody? I'm new to cars and trucks and need some assistance already.

Yesterday I picked up a set of the Losi aluminum shocks for my son's Mini-T and I can't get them to seal for the life of me. I'm using 20 wt. Losi oil and the seals supplied with the shocks. Every time I cycle the shock oil squirts out around the cartridge.

You guys have any pointers?

Use plumbers tape on the threads and then screw the cap back on and that should take care of the problem.

Or be VERY gentle when you tighten the cartriges , if youre not the little rubber washer rolls up and it wont seal .

Then go too the teflon tape , one wrap around should work .

Well, tried tape they still leak. Not happy at all with these things. Think I'll be pulling them off in favor of the crappy stock stuff.

I personally didn't like the Losi shocks either. I could never get them to seal properly so I bought the GPM aluminum shocks. They work much better then the Losi ones.

Hmmm I found the Losi shocks to work really well . 3 Racing shocks are also decent .
