I think it is a joke. At least they finally added threaded axles.
They really need to work upgrading the drivetrain on the MLST.

I think with the bigger tires its going to have about a 3 minute runtime. Looks cool except for the color of the rims, but they should have doubled the size of the battery to make up for it. It is also quite a bit slower due to the extra bulk as seen in the videos. Honestly if its a micro monster truck you want the Mini Z monster steps all over it. The micro T is a buggy. not a monster, regardless of tires and body.

OHH a micro MT finally!... ohhhhh its 2WD
I was hoping for a centre mounted motor and 4WD. It would still be my first choice for another micro RC!

Can you mount the battery in the car? or does it HAVE to be on the wheelie bar??

i really dont think that they came out with anything good in the micro rc since the micro baja. i mean the desert truck is sweet but its just bigger and they dont give it more power? or bigger battery? then this and i dont know what to think. it will be good with an atomic bb and bearings and lipo

They really need to put a 4wd on one of there micro's, they would sell so many more IMO. This is what I'd like to see, a mid-engined 4wd micro lst2 or muggy with lipo battery. What would be so hard about that?

Now why would they put the battery in the back. It already wheelies enough with out it in the normal place.

Sure, with small tires, but they had to mount the battery in the back to get it to wheelie using those huge tires on it. A regular stock Micro t would never wheelie with those tires on it. The obviously had to gear it alot lower and put the batteries weight in the back. It doesn;t surprise me that the Micro Raminator is lame as the Mini Raminator they recently released is lame as well. It is based on the MLST design whihc is ridiculous as it is the latest model int he line to come out after the MMB and that is MLST2 based and they put it out with only 1 stock motor in it. They spent all of the budget on the dodge logos. Although, I must admit the new 1/8 raminator is sweeet. I don;t understand why they didn't include the DSM radio with the LST2, or the Monster Baja??? I really don;t like the raminator body/wheels but its the one to get just based on the radio alone.

Bigger tires wont make it slower it will give it higher top end, less acel tho. but they will prob gear it real low to keep cool. oh well thats what mods are food, i have the 3R large tires on mine no loss of speed at all

It doesn't look as fast too me. Bigger tires will make it slower because they weigh a lot more and therefore will take more power to spin and as you mentioned will decrease acceleration. It is the same reason why the MDT is slower than the stock Miro T, but it will be even worse for the Raminator as the weight is rotational weight on the wheels instead of the chassis. So how long until the first person that buys this and comes on here complaining about 3 min runtimes.

You know with that huge body, and big layout, it might give more options for custom Li-Po jobs...

If you look at the videos on Losi's site. The sound make it sound as if the gear box is making a clicking noise. Showed this to my son, he wants one now.
