Seriously Fordman, read the REST of the forum headings... There's a place for Mini and Micro R/Cs, where XMODS belong in... This is the 1:10 and larger section, where the 'big boys' play...

Nice pics. Thanks for sharing. I have quite a few XMOD's myself. Wish they didn't discontinue them. My kids and I love bashing them around the house. I have some of the cars and trucks.

I still have my Xmod which I use to chase the cat and dog around the house. My neighbor is HUUUUUGE into them, he has over 15 and one of them is in the 40mph range (His high speed quest goes on and on). He gave my 7.2v lipos, awd conv kit, ball bearings, and a 30k motor for free (i think i am around the 20 mph range).

How long have these been discontinued? I've always wanted the purple Camaro body

The deep-dish wheels come from the Scion tC body kit set. Many people buy 'em without having a need for the body parts, just for the wheels The front and rear both have deep dishes, but the rears are more deep for a cosmetic offset look.

why?
why is it that every time someone posts something, somebody has got to come along and knock them down?
this thread isn't a "i think the xmods are the best" or a "xmods are better than mini z's" thread. the guy is just showing off his collection. at no time did he ask you to bash his cars nor did he bash yours. but thanks for letting us all know what your over inflated ego thinks of the xmod. much appreciated. now keep your opinion to yourself until someone asks for it.

I had the 65 mustang and did the 6 cell mod to it which made it alot better. It was faster and handled better nad the mod was free. I just ripped the battery tray out of and old dvd remote, then mounted it using the screw holes under the roof of the body. I never really was happy with teh steering though so I eventually got rid of it.

ok, guys, its ok to express feelings, but no need for the drama. that person who had the 6 cell mustang, the steering on gen1's are a;ways 2 wide, which is why there is a tight turn upgrade yuo solder into the circuit board. xmods are great to drive inside when its raining, but i wouldnt take mine out side much cuz the road is bumper and all.

personally if you want to stay small i would go with the micro-t it's about 80 bucks but it comes with every thing you need they say it's able to go off road but its so small and low it can't also don't drive it on the street it bottom's out pretty bad. there the neatest micro car iv'e seen but when you buy it i suggest the lipo battery kit it's 45 bucks but its worth it.

p.s: nice collection of rc cars and models.

you will get board with a micro-t trust me i suggest starting out with somthing bigger such as a 10th scale because of the abundant amount of parts for them and they can be found very cheap and be made to exceed 60mph so yea just my .02cents

ok on topic nice cars dood i used to own some xmods and that were pretty fun
