I originally started with a FT RC18B kit, but quickly converted it to a T. Here are my reasons
1. Shocks and shock tower is exposed on the B version, leaving them very vulnerable in high speed rollovers. I broke several shock towers and ruined shock caps from flipping over as a buggy version.
2. Body fits too snugly to fit electronics comfortably. This made it difficult to add other goodies like fans to the esc and motor.
So, I reccomend going with the T version. They handle exactly the same as the only differences is the shock towers, body, tires, and gearing

Ive got the RC18t FT and love it.... I would recommend to anybody the 18t over the 18b... +1 for BigShrimpah .. YES... the 18b body DOESNT fit well at all to tight for me.... Purely The rc18T WINNS!!
Here is a pic of my rc18t FT kit.... just to give ya an idea of what ya gettin ) ... And bt the way.. I added the Fin it doesnt come with it in the KIT but its only like $3 at the LHS,, Enjoy what ever you decide to get [8D]
