My opinion is that you should get the Vendetta. The vendetta seems to handle alot better than the rc18B. My buddy has an rc18b and has problems with his drivetrain all the time. I have a Vendetta ST and have only had problems with minor issues such as a servo staying down down or broken driveshafts. As far as I have seen the Vendetta has handled brushless alot easier than rc18, mini t, and mini LST.

I know lots say vendetta... BUT... 
..... I would hafta say go with the rc18b FT KIT you can build it with the electronics perfered by you and its got tons of parts out there at the LHS or online (like thetoyz.com) ... Ive got the rc18t FT KIT and love it to death... PUt a Brushless in it and ull never go to anything else..
