Default Micro Raminator any good?

i was thinking of geting a micro and i was looking them up and had my eye on the raminator

and i was wondering is it good?

and just as upgradeable as the other micros?

i problee gona mosty use it in doors sense i do a cleaning job with my mom and dad and this would be a good past time when i wait till they are done cleaning after me and i got my t-maxx for the out doors

but i herd and seen that the micro is pretty decent driving outside also

i was looking at the mini one but seem like the micro would be the best in doors because of its size and it has a portable battery charger for on the go.

also how long is the runtime and charge time? and how many times can the portable charger charge it before that needs charge?

thanks

I love my Micro Raminator, it's a ton of fun. I drive it inside and outside and jump it a lot, and so far the only thing I've broken it the steering tie rods. It's the same vehicle as the other Losi micro's just with a different body and mounts and wheels/tires so it's just as upgradeable. With the stock battery I would say the runtime is about 8 minutes or so, and it takes about 15 minutes to charge with the stock charger. I run the Losi LiPo in mine and that makes a huge difference in both speed and run time.

Here's a pic of mine with it's big brothers.

I don't know because I don't race. I took the wheelie bar off of mine and it wheelies like crazy, including rolling wheelies with the lipo. It will wheelie from a stop with the stock battery too. I don't know why they made the battery mount in the wheelie bar because it doesn't need it, and with the battery in there there's no weight on the frot wheels so it wont turn under throttle.

I just got my micro-ram about 2 weeks ago. It is a sweet little truck. Nothing but wheelies if the battery is in the wheelie bar. Move it under the chassis for occasional wheelies. My wife and I like the big tires better than the stock micro-t tires.

No, LiPo batteries require a LiPo specific charger. If you try to charge them with a non LiPo charger they can explode.

Losi makes a LiPo converter but it's only for a few approved chargers and a few approved batteries, the micro LiPo's aren't one of them. I'm not aware of any other LiPo converter on the market. You can see the one I'm talking about [link=http://losi.com/Products/Features.aspx?ProdId=LOSB9607]here[/link].

Well they have adapters but they're for use with a LiPo charger, instead of having to use the Micro LiPo charger. It wont work with a non LiPo charger. Is your Pirahna charger a LiPo charger? If you can find a link to what you're referring to that would be great.

It's possible, I know they're wrong a lot at one of my LHS's lol. I've searched google for a converter and can't find anything other than the Losi one I linked to.

Do you have a pic of that? I'd be curious to see it since I have a DT on the way.
