Default problem?

I have a Associated 1600 Series 7.2V Flat Micro Pack NiMH,Castle Creations 1/18 Sidewndr Micro Sprt + 4200 kV Cmb. the problem is now my rc18t is running slow it used to run nice and fast for 30 min and the motor would get well hot . so do you think the motor has had it. I have used another 1600 7.2v and a 1100 7.2v but make no difference.

Again not everyone is looking for the kind of uncontrollable speed that the 8000kv gives. I would say you need to have someone look at the motor that can give you an idea what the problem is. It could be the motor or the esc so just have someone take a look at it.

so if I put the standard brushed motor back in and try and if that runs fine I know it will be my motor if not it will be my esc?

buster7467 my man the 8000k only has uncontrollable speed if thats how you drive it. again you dint need to go at full speed all the time. your finger is the best speed control ever made.
