Default Mini LST 2

I know it's probably been gone over about a million times. I've searched all the forums and I'm still wondering what I should do. I just ordered a MLST 2 and the Exotek LXT conversion. I have a Mamba 6800 and an 8000 have not decided which to put in yet. Are there any drive train mods needed to use either of these motors. Any suggestions would be great with part numbers if possible. Is the wide track conversion worth doing?

You will need a center ball diff (either MIP or Losi) , the stock gear diff wont last long on brushless power .

Will the front and rear diffs hold up?

They will IF you do not tighten the slipper down too far , I put shims behind the side bevel gears inside the diffs too make them stronger , but I only blew out 1 before from having the slipper too tight .

Losi makes a Dual Disk slipper that works very well and is easier too set than the stocker .

Thanks guys. I figured the 6800 would be enough in the MLST2. I'm going to put the 8000 in my 18R.

Ok, so this is what I've got so far. I already have the truck the exotek chassis and the brushless motor. This will be my next order anything more to add before I place it.

MIP center ball diff
CVD'S all the way around
Dual disc slipper
Heatsink
Exciter body
