I dont know why I kept It to myself. I just wanted to see how easy it would be before I said I was doing it. One thing led to another and I was this far along. whats funny is I only have about $120 bucks into this so far.

Wow, thats cool a nitro mini LST2..... looks alot like your LST2 only on a smaller scale.... . I remember seing a photo a while back of a nitro mini t, looked like someone "shoved" everything inside..... . A Picco P Zero should make it go prety fast, saw a video of it in a N18T (video by RC Driver), pulled like 35 MPH top end! So how fun is a mini nitro compared to your 1/8....

no comparison, I beat the heck out of that 1/8 lst2. launching it off of everything. ramps and dirt hits. and its really fast. the mini is fun in the front yard and such. but just not the same. My brother and I are thinking of building a track for it on the side of my house. He probably wants me to build him one. I know brushless is super fast and all but I just like nitros and have a lot of fun. the smell and noise just attracts people and its almost always positive.

Nice Job Man....
This says a lot about the mlst2 diffs. If they can handle nitro I wonder if it can handle a mamba max..? You got a vid..?
About how fast do you think your nitro goes.?

Right now about as fast as stock, but I'm in the works Of changing that. Ive ordered up some xray nt18t parts . They have alot of gear choices which should get the speed up. It is probably no way of being close to brushless though. As Ive stated ; fast or slow I like nitro!
My buddy got a video camera and well try to get some vids up. but if my parts come soon Itll be a little later.

Nice! Looks good man! It looks pretty quick for what it is. Not bad at all IMO. Hope it goes well for a while.

does anyone know of some bullet proof gears for the diffs? I installed a picco .08 motor and some better gearing, broke it in, tuned it, and pulled acouple of wheelies and ripped the gears out. dang it! just want to know what you brushless guys are doing? I definetly will get video as soon as its fixed.

Awesome! I have been thinking of one but using the Picco P-Zero engine instead. My Nitro Stampede is for bashing around, BL Slash is for speed, but I think that I want another Nitro and I've been wanting to convert my MLST2 for a long time. How much would it cost(chaos reciever and whatnot) to mount it all up along with dual HS65MG's for steering($70)?

Well i didnt have anything better to do so i searched thetoyz.com for gears, and this is what they have.
Metal locked centerdiff
http://www.thetoyz.com/cart/thetoyz_...ame=MINI%20LST
A derlin ring gear
http://www.thetoyz.com/cart/thetoyz_...ame=MINI%20LST
Steel bevel pinion gears.
http://www.thetoyz.com/cart/thetoyz_...ame=MINI%20LST
And thats it for the toyz.
I dont know of any other site but atomic mods that would have better diff gears.
BTW that thing is bad anus. I love nitros.

Sweet!!! That looks like a well converted mini lst. From the video it looks like it is waaay better than stock. Not only does it seem to perform it looks good as well. Now all you need is video of it with the picco.

I just bought the brushless conversion for mine and I haven't gotten it in yet but I saw these diff gears and I am not sure if they will help solve your problem but I figured I would try my best to help!

Like I say, I don't know if these will help but if someone else has some input I would appreciate it because I am sure mine will get smoked soon enough!

HOLY GEEZE man! That is pretty awesome! I wonder if my brushless will do that. I don't think so, I got a 5400KV and I plan on gearing it for a little more top speed, so the torque won't be as bad...I think, LOL. Well if you get those ball diffs tell me how they work please. I would like to get them too once I smoke my stockers LOL. (The quote is from Conjunction Junction LOL)

I figured out that the slipper was locked down. I thought that if I tightened up pretty good it would be fine. I was wrong! I'm going to get the metal slipper too. and make sure it slips a little. lol

Great work on the nitro BTW!! I didn't even say how awesome I think it is! I am keeping mine electric because I travel a lot and I can take it on a plane easier if it's not gas. Plus I want to take it to Iraq when I get deployed LOL.
