RE: OFNA Jammin' CRT .5
The only problem I have found with mine is a leaky fuel tank. A rubber band around it and problem gone. never had a problem after that.

it uses standard 2.2 inch wheels, with 12mm hexes. most 2.2's should fut, unless their a goofy size. it also uses standard servos for some serious steering power.

umm....not a whole lot. i bet you could fit a big block in it if you cut the chassis a little bit, but that is just a bad idea. it uses standard size parts, so it is pretty to get parts for. i notice it has all ball bearings, i do plan to get one...right after i buy a cd3 and a jlr reddot first.

No, I bought it because I wanted a brushless conversion project. Did great, just needs a longer chassis when I get around to buying one.

Mine's a little different from all the other brushless ones.
For tires the m2 compound proline gladiators are a popular choice. M2 is the harder one. I am about to get a set once i get up off my lazy butt.

I got the pro version used as a roller. I really like it and I can't imagine having a shorter chassis...

RE: OFNA Jammin' CRT .5
Ahhh, ok. It appears you'll need an engine w/o a pipe, two servos (don't know the size) and I'd bet you'll need a radio system. You'll need to paint the body. You also might need a clutch and/or clutchbell.
If you make a brushless one you'll need a mm esc, medusa 50mm 3300kv motor, rcm motor mount, battery try (rc bros, rcm, or custom) and a 3s lipo. Odds and ends include a mod 1 pinion.
The CRT is a great truck and you'll love it if you get it. It's really fast due to the size/power ratio and its really durable.

Will that one work with a 1/8, 1/10 scale starter? That seems like a pretty good deal. So all I have to add is servos and a radio?

RE: OFNA Jammin' CRT .5
I'm not sure... If it has the extended chassis it used standard servos. If it has the regular chassis then it would use the mini servos.

RE: OFNA Jammin' CRT .5
How are the brakes? What are necssary upgrades that should be done right ou of the box? I want to put a modded Picco JL Racing .12 Red Dot in it and I want to know if it will handle that?

RE: OFNA Jammin' CRT .5
The crt .5 is a 12th scale and has 8th scale diffs and suspension. Yeah. It's a beast. Put it this way. A brushless system that has roughly twice the power of a nitro engine doesn't even make the diffs sweat. I don't know about the brakes because I never used them.
The only part I ever broke was a body post and that was because I ran it without the body. The CRT .5 is very durable. If you want more info on its durability look around on here.
