Default Rc18B project started: Brushless Break-In issue, please come-in

Hi guys,
I'm completing my RC18B project. Right now I was installing my Mamba 8000 system in and a problem came through my mind: what are the basic steps to follow for the first time installation? Should I program my Mamba ESC previously or should I use the default settings? Should I break-in my engine? If so, what method is the best?

Many thank in advance, bye.

- follow the directions.
- use loctite on the motor mount screws
- set-up your esc depending on your needs. So if you're using a lipo, set it up the lvc as needed. If you want fwd only, set it up for fwd only...its all up to you.
- Bl motors do not require break in.

oh, you might also adjust the timing so it's at the lowest setting, it'll make your runtimes a tiny bit longer, and might help the motor run cool. if you're not overheating, you could go back and change the timing higher if you wanted. assuming you have the castlelink stuff

I saw a picture that made it look like a normal USB Mini-B plug would go into a MMP but there is that $25 link set-up that they sell, is that mandatory?

@dylan0123: yes I do, I'm actually using the Castlelink, thanks for suggesting me the timing topic, I'll check it out

Meanwhile, here is a photo about my Rc18B Factory Team: [link=http://img21.imageshack.us/my.php?image=editata3.jpg]CLICK HERE[/link]

I was trying to use a LRP Rx Only Li-Po 2S2P 22oo Mah battery, but I'm afraid it won't work well due to low C capacities....don't you agree?
