hmmmmm

would a   8900kv

23mm  size can
31mm

interest you?   NEW  never used . bought 2 and never used it .

also would you want to buy another recoil for $50w/ new body?

to hit 100 you will need a

2200mah  20-30C lipo  . . . which i have and fits perfectly into my recoil(which i never use)

and the lipo will cost $30w/ship
motor $30 w/ship

also some pinions $5

PM me for links

and do oyu have ball diffs ?

ceramic bearings or sumthing

larger motor, larger esc, larger batteries, taller gearing, increase traction, decrease drag, increase efficiency of drivetrain by reducing friction and other sources of wasted energy

a tail wind will help too

no it will get near  probably 85 with a better battery . . .

but the people who go 100+    run  4 celled   LIPOS

so you will need to get a ESC that can do that .    the mamba can.  but the warranty doesnt cover it . casue after 1 min of run it already like 500degrees lol

get the highest KV motor you can find that cools fast (not the LOSI motor)   the 8900kv motors on ebay.    i have one those are nice .

mine with  2200mah 20-30c and   something geard up like oyurs     15/smallest tooth spur      goes fast enough to lift itself off the ground . .casue when they get too fast and casue they are too light they will just fly .

i was told a 6800kv will go faster cause you can put more battey to it. more rpm's. and i do have a mamba esc. micro sidewinder.

a 8900kv will go wayyyy faster ..

casue i think  IMO that any BL motor has enough torque to go top. it just matters on how much runway. and battery.

a 8900kv is like 20% faster and that is ALOT!!

a 4S w/biggest lipo you can fit  4S 2200 20-30 C    will easily get you to     100MPH      is a SMOOTH OPEN     airplane hangar or sumthing

where no object or WIND interfers .no cracks... etc

do you have anywhere where you plan to run it ?

Get a 1/10th sidewinder esc and a Medusa 28mm or Neu 1100 series motor. Then it'll be fast. It'll be like night and day over the mamba motor. A medusa 4200 on 4s will get you over 100, probably over 120 too; if you can handle the speed.

Easiest way I can think of is to put it in your real cars back seat and go drive 100.  But really how controllable is a recoil going to be at 100?  That is a pretty big step from 60.

Ah, this is the classic issue. Simply throwing more power at it will not help. the weight of the car, aerodynamics, traction and efficiencyare all more important atthis stage. Oh, and more money always helps. These things don't happen on a budget.

i have plenty of road to run it on. ijsut dont think runnig a 9800kv motor on the same batey i have now is going to make a difference. hes saying a 2200 mah well im runnig a 2100. how mch difference is jsut swapping motor gunna make. i dont think it will. i was told a 4s 5000mah 10c wiht a 9800kv would fly. or even a 5000 3s on the 6800 i have would too. ws just under the inpression that a 4600 wold rn faster than a 9800 kuz you can run more power to the 4600, as far as rpm's. more more rpm's=faster.

Best setup... Neu 1107 with a castle sidewinder 1/10th esc w/ the bec disabled and 4s lipo. Preferably 25-30c not maxamps.

great setup - Medusa 28mm with same esc and battery. 18th sidewinder won't do a 28mm medusa/Neu too good.

and pretty fast BL mtoor .

with 4s lipo will probalbly hit    100+

a    castle sidewinder  1/10 ESC w/  4cell lipo will hit 100.

i just dont know how much runway you need. or where you will play casue that determines whether it will hit 100 or not .

a supersmooth parking lot that is like 1/4mile big might let you hit 100.

OR your local HIGH SCHOOL or college's  TRACK and Field track,

Make sure to do a lot of work on aerodynamics and even research adding a gyro. Having a really powerful car is one thing, but controlling it is another.

Just a random suggestion here: salesmen usually arent the best source of advice. Dont listen to them when they say their stuff is the best. Get an unbiased third party's opinion.
