Default Want to go faster RC18R

Sup guys. I currently have a RC18R with a mamba sidewinder 8000k along with a thunder power 3s 2100 lipo. Aside from suspension and aerodynamics what else can be done to make it faster? It's fast as shyt already but i'd like to go a little bit faster. I mainly do top speed runs on this one only. BTW, im running stock gearing as well. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

Bryan

Go with a larger motor. By larger I mean like ammo 28-35 series or something along those lines. your 20mm 8k mamba will only put out so much. The ammos are lower kv but have longer and larger can sizes to give you more power.

have you tried 1/10 touring tires and wheels ? should get you into omg top speed if the heat stays under control

well i finished up with the body. I used dirt oval wedge body and added large fins to the sides, also left the rear fenders uncut "bonneville salt flat style". Im gona test it out to see how fast it goes right now. How hard is it to retrofit a 10th scale motor onto this chassis? other than motor and batteries what else needs to be done to make a 10th scale motor fit?
