Best scale body options for losi mini crawler?
Ok guys lets see what looks best on the truck, maybe not the best body for extreme climbing..but more for looks..
What I would really like is a 61-66 ford truck body, ( slick 60) but I realize I would have to make it from scratch as that is not exactly a mainstream truck body! heck you can barely buy models from 40 years ago ....
Hopefully we will get some nice pics posted..I am trying to decide what to get to trick my new truck out.

Well I mounted up a RJ Speed 1024 70'S Outlaw Rocker Crawler body on my Mini rock crawler.
I didn't spend a ton of time on it, just wanted something that looked a little more in scale to the drivetrain. Not sure how it will work as I am more into general off roading than just rock crawling.

Took the new body out to our secret test zone 
, It hurts the short steep sections more than the long hill climbs, not to bad on the tire dragging the body. The bad news is when you get to steep or sideways WAY up a hillclimb and it rolls down the body makes some hardcore tumbles, hard enough it broke of the body mounts on one side ! I have an idea for a soft mount system to fix that issue ...forward on testing....

That body looks cool on the mini. Check out my Losi Mini Crawler body options thread for some more on this subject. I too broke a body post with my yellow ranger body. My goodwill Jeep body shattered when I rolled it off a rock wall 3 feet to the sidewalk. lol

I guess I could update this with my new body, my buddy and I both finall broke down and bought the speedway pal samurai..way expensive to get shipped from japan (ebay seller) but nothing looks and fits better.

that is a great improvement to the available bodies. It still has a bit of the monster truck look. I really like more of a stock fit..I like the wheels to go up inside the body rather than them sticking way WAY out to the sides.
I bet they sell a TON of that chevy body though !
