how long is your motor?
i'm looking at one of those cheapo brushless motors off ebay to replace my burnt castle and the picture seems deceiving. would 31mm be about as long as a normal motor or is that a little short?

you mamba was 45mm long so you dont want anything that small
check this out at tower for 31.00 it is twice as much as the one you most likely looking at . i got one off ebay and my 18t pinion did not fit they don't have 2mm shafts i think 2.5mm
5000k - 9500k

rc18junkie. I don't believe that mamba motors are 45mm long.
Matt-If you wanted a longer or larger motor take a look at hobby city. What are you putting it in?

RE: how long is your motor?
i was going off of the tower hobby specs
SPECS: Length: 45mm (1-7/8")
Diameter: 20mm (.7874")
Shaft: 2mm (.08")
RPM per volt: 6800kV
Weight: 1.7oz
so i decided to measure one of mine and it is 32mm you right i need to stop using tower specs
i think he decided on one of the associated 1/18 motors for 31.00 at tower he can get it in about 4 days instead in hobby kings 3 weeks
