i need a input gear for the rc18
 

i just sold my car and the input gear is messed up and my hobbyshop dosnt have it is their any mini car that has the same piece. that i can interchange. please

It might help if you clarified what, exactly, you consider "the input gear" to be.

The gear on the motor? Better known as a pinion gear?

I'm pretty sure the input gear is the one on the very end of the driveshaft, the one that connects with the diff gear. lol

Yeah, it's the little gear on the end of the drive shaft, the one that has contact with the diff gear. http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXJHM8&P=M I guess you could call it the diff pinion...

Given the vagueness of his post, I figured asking couldn't hurt. You and I might think it's the diff input gear, but who knows! Better to be sure than to give the poor guy the completely wrong advice.
