Brushless esc motor questions

I have installed a Megatech brushless system on my Pro pulse. The megatech motor is 6600kv. Can I use the ezrun 7800kv motor with the esc or do I need a new esc?Here are the specs on the esc:Brushless ESC
Current - 20 Amps continuous, 30 Amps surge
ESC Size - 44 x 25.5 x 17mm
ESC Weight - 34g
Brake - Proportional
Reversible - Yes, with lockout
Low Voltage Cut-off Programmable

The ezrun escs are 18a or 25A on the same 12T brushless motor.

Is there a limit? I'm seeing 9500kv motors for the same price. can this be controlled easily?

no limit. 9500kv is a lot of KV, heat may be an issue specially if its offroad, and you cant run a 3S lipo with it.
