Ulmer 049 wonder plans?
A while back a gent by the name of PT Ulmer (?sp) had a website where he had downloadable plans for several 1/2A planes. These included what I remember being a 049 Sig Wonder type plane. Does anyone have the files they could send me?
Thanks,
Frank

I think it was the Das Wunder. Right-click the pdf attachment and choose ''save target as'' to save the file to your machine.

Thanks so very much. That's exactly the one I wanted to find!

Hi there
Speaking of Pat Ulmer's 049 wonder plans.... does anyone have his Blink delta plans (for an .049 engine)? Patrick's site seems to be down.
All the best
Simon

Sorry I haven't been around guys, but life happens. I can't say the files I've got up are the most recent versions, but they looked to be. Gotta go through a lot of files one day and get it straightened out.
dF, Legendary? I needed that today.

No worries. Pat, there used to be another on your website, a sort of sheet wing racer as I recall. Do you still have the files for that too?
Thanks,
Frank

Frank, it's around here somewhere. But you can experiment easily by making a fuse just big enough to bolt the engine on and a wing with 110-120 sq in! As soon as I find it, I'll add it though.

That would be awesome Patrick. Got laid off about a month ago, so I'm trying to spend more time flying stuff that's a little easier on the fuel wallet!

I have most of Patrick's plans that he posted on his site - just couldn't remember what it was called.

August 27th was my last day on the job after 14 years. It sucks!
Do a search on SWR's or sheet wing racers. Man, those are FUN! Combatpigg did a lot of different ones with some off-the-chain bearing engines. At 110 square inches the AUW must be less than 8.5oz or they come in like augers. Vertical stab is 15% of the wing area and horizontal stab is 20%. Both numbers can be reduced a bit, depending on the planform. That's all from memory and not reliable.

Patrick,
Sorry to hear of your situation. I think there's more of that going around than folks admit. Thanks so much for the killer buzz info. It looks fun!
