Default Spilling Fuel ? See Your Pharmacist .

I know many people prime their small engines with a syringe . Filling the syringe can be messy . I recently got a prescription filled for a gargle . The pharmacist came with a plastic bottle anda syringe for measuring . She said that it can get kind of messy . Shethen said Wait , I have an idea . She took the bottle and came back with a plastic adapter placed in the bottle that accepts the nub of the syringe . As you can tell by the ribs on the adapter plug, there is a tight seal . You can turn the bottle upside-down and squeeze and no liquid will come out . The syringe nub fits tightly in the adapter and draws fluid easily . I don't know the name of this piece or how fuel-proof it is but it sure will prevent a few spills and make priming easier . ..... D.J.<o></o>

If you fill the syringe by sucking fuel into it VIA the tip..there isn't any mess involved.
You have to shoot a pair of short sheetmetal screws into the syringe's body to prevent accidentally pulling the syringe plunger completely out of the main body while you are drawing fuel in.
