GWS Warbird and OS FP 10?
Hello Guys...
i´m thinking in an all glassed GWS Warbird (maybe a Spitfire) with an OS FP 10 motor (.10) and retracts...what do the experts think?
would it be too much power for this little airplane ...and if it´s possible, what gws warbird would you recomend?..i´m thinking semi-scale...
Or what else do you recomend for the little FP 10 motor - Scale - (yes i know..it´s big compared toa Tee Dee...but´s thats all i got )
Well thankls to you all...i´ll be waiting your answers....

RE: GWS Warbird and OS FP 10?
Dave , I think he means he already has the .10 and is looking for a plane,,,, maybe one of the ace simple series with throttle management would be better, I think if you take a GWS plane and "glass" it for strength, you end up with a flying brick, it might fly ok as long as its moving really fast....Rog

See this thread about converting a GWS Zero to Norvel .074 power.

I've seen it and it flies really nice with lots of power to spare. The OS .10 is in the same ballpark as the Norvel .074 for power, but the Norvel is much lighter.
I think that one of the Wattage ARFs might make a better candidate for conversion to an OS .10.
