Default S.M.A.L.L. ?

My failing memory has me thinking that once upon a time there was an outfit that went by the name of 'S.M.A.L.L.' that was devoted to R/C model aircraft using engines up to .25 capacity.

I have tried to search for this outfit several times in recent months and best I found was brief mention of an outfit in UK that mentions that aim, but very little info.

Does this outfit still exist in USA? Can anyone furnish a website or similar where I can find more information?

Thanks in advance.

S.M.A.L.L. is actually a non-organization. It is a very loose association of people interested in smaller models of all types, FF, CL, and RC.

For information contact Joe Wagner - [email protected] and/or Randy Randolph - [email protected]

I don't know how active it is currently.

Model Airplane News magazine also hosted a few SMALL events and the story and pics were reported in their magazine for the years these were held. That, as I understand it, gave rise to the SmallNet web site which is still run by Joe and Randy out of this site here....

I have not seen a SMALLNet newsletter in a couple yeears now, sadly.
Without the small plane chatter here, I would be in withdrawl!
I think Randy and Joe are busy with other stuff. I m sure it was
a lot of work to put out.
The archives are at the website, worth reading through, lots of info
in there.

This is just a guess, but Joe Wagner mentioned several times how he had to filter through the input we sent him and weed out any inappropriate material and sometimes redo the information because it was in a format he couldn't readily use. Perhaps, as you said, it just became too much of a workload.
I miss those postings though.
