Default Fuji film canister tank

I think I am loosing my mind. I know I have seen pictures of the canister tanks but my searches only return references to the tanks but not the original thread. Anyone have the original thread?

Sorry to be a pest.

'Cuz it's CHEAP! What, you got no Scottish blood in ye?

Reason 2: you're darn lucky if your little Sullivan tank has never split at the neck and soaked your plane.

Reason 3: The Fuji tank is lighter.

I have not been able to find a better tank for a 1/2 A application. I am running one with a .074 and getting over 7 minutes of flight time. It delivers fuel in any attitude, even during some extremely high G manuvers. Try one, it's all you will use.

I just made one per post #2, I put it in an old GLH kit TD.051 with backplate pressure tap, runs great except when I go inverted goes to sounding rich and dies, will roll good for a few seconds and then the same. I dont know what it is . The tank is a little lower if not dead on with he carb , fuel lines are reasonable (fugi tank directly behind firew). Tank is wrapped if foam? Yea there lite and I think easyer too set up no rubber plugs(most tanks) or seams to bust by over tightening I do think it was maybe a craftsman error somewheresthanks, chuck

I'll never use a commercial tank that's smaller than 4oz, they're just too heavy.

Raycamel, gotta ask... is the clunk flopping around in the tank? If you can hear it then it's free and moving. If it doesn't move, check the brass tube on the fuel line where it goes into the silicone tubing and into the tank. If it can be moved in and out, even a little, its possible that with each refueling it was moved in a little bit until the clunk was shoved far enough back to hang up. That would hinder fuel pickup while inverted. It would seem to me that the brass fuel tube would have to be very tight inside the silicone tubing so as not to move in or out. Just a thought.

well... after closer inspection I noticed that the clunk tubeing is not quite soft enough to let it touch top when up side down, a lite jiggle and it will hit. thanks chuck
