RAY, I hate to tell you this but the only HALFWIT "kits" available, are what's hidden inside the blank sheets of balsa that you will have to get down at TIMs'. The kite shop down the street on BROADWAY has a great assortment of carbon and fiberglass tubes[ for the main runner in the fuselage]. I didn't realize there was any one else WEST of the ROCKYs and SOUTH of the MOLSON DIXON line who flew 1/2A 3D! There is a huge HALFWIT thread that is just a page or two back by MATCHLESSAERO that will get you going with a plan.

Ray you can down load them from Matchlesaero's web site. I have built my second one in two evenings so they are not hard to build. Keep it light and it will be a fun plane. Build it heavy and it will still be a fun plane, just not as much vertical, hovering stuff.

Ray 67, those guys have given some pretty good advice. Build it light and it will fly right. Take your time getting the right carbon tube. It has a big effect on weight and strength.
If you have any questions about building, there have been plenty built here to look at, and I'll answer any questions you have.
Yesterday evening, I got mine out at the field and practiced harriering, hovering and knife edges. For knife edges, I would take off and immediately roll to knife edge with the wing tip about 6" from the ground. I did this over and over again until I caught a tip on a slightly too low Knife. The cartwheel was fun to watch though.
3 drops of zap later, and I was back in the air harriering around again.
The prototype is getting a little 'long in the tooth'.......
