Turbo Bee for $29.00 !!!
Turbo Bee Experts!
I just got my new Turbo Bee kit from Hobby People for $29.00. If my hobby budget were not so depleted I would
power it with the recommended speed 400 and Li-Po batteries. I have and will most likely use my MP-Jet .061 R/C Diesel.
It is my understanding that there is a special "glow engine mount kit" does any one have this kit, and would you be willing to
put the plans for it on a scanner and email it to me?
Thanks
Francis

If no one has done this for you already try posting up some pics of the motor mount section of the fuselage and perhaps the parts that the original motor mounted onto. I'm guessing that just a simple replacement of the motor mount parts with a heavier grade of plywood will provide the vibration absorption you will need but some pics of the area or scans of the electric plan will help to confirm that.
Any sort of ducted fan model is going to work best with high revs. Is your MPJet up to that task?

BMatthews,
My Mp-Jet turns a Cox grey 6*3 at 18,000 RPM and I plan to use a APC 7*5 cut down to the recomended size of 4.3". Check out the con rod on this dual ball bearing, twin needle carbed engine.

If it turns that 4.3 x 5 at 18 or better it'll probably be a rocket. You'll need to provide a way to get into the contrapiston as well. Perhaps a suitable allen cap screw and a ball end driver.
Got any pics of the motor area of the plans and the motor mount parts?

Turbo Bee Help Needed
Please,
I need Turbo Bee help!
1.) The wing strengthening balsa stick: how long? Is it the same width as the ply spar from the fuselage?
2.) Does any body have plans from the glow engine mount?
3.) If YES then would you please scan it and email it to me?
4.) How much does your Turbo Bee weigh “all up”?
