Default 3D Plane

Can anyone recommend a good 3D plane for a .074?

Latest Flying Models. The "BadaBing, designed by our own Dickeybird.

Matchlesarrow's HalfWit or Edgeling. If you do a search in this fourm you will find both. While designed for .061 I fly mine with the .074 with a 7x3 prop. They are profile type planes, very quick build, and excellent 3D flyers.

Darren:

He asked for an airplane, not a profile.

These planes look good. Are there any kits available or do you build from plans?

Well, from the side profiles do look like airplanes...

Cool it, Jose. Just cracking a joke.

I think they fly a lot like airplanes too! William

Uncas, The BadaBing is a plan available from Flying Models magazine. Beautiful little plane that flies very well. The Halfwit is available in plan form as a free download from my website. PM me if you would like more info on the Edgeling (its a kit).

Hello guys, I need to some help here, im kind of tired of buying the cheap {$100 or less 3D airplanes} I need something that’s not highly expensive, but is nice, scale, and a joy to fly. Does anybody have any suggestions for me? thanks

Both the HalfWit and the EDGEling are really good 3D planes. Both will 3D on an .061 and really rock with an .074 on the front. MATCHLESS has really done his homework on these. He is also really good to help with questions....[&:] I should know.

He flys his EDGEling as much or more than anything else he has. To see that little thing just sit there in front of him and hover is really something. I built the EDGEling from an early kit. It was really simple to build AND FLYS REALLY WELL. Start with the HalfWit and then move up to the EDGEling. You'll love them both.

It´s Ok my friend. I apologize if I wrote something hard. I don´t want to sound bad. Remember I´m from Mexico and my English sometimes lead me to put the wrong feeling in my writing.
Also I´m waiting for my Edgeling from Matchless and my hopes are really high for this plane. Is simply cute and I always liked small airplanes so to have a 1/2A plane that hovers is like "Icing on the cake".
Best wishes.

Bolio:

No offense intended or taken. What I call humor has been a little blunt at times. I hope you enjoy the Edgeling. Everything I hear about it is good.

Except the profile fuselage.

Wow Bill , You sure did take alot of grief for a good natured joke. I undestood your intent and laughed out loud. No offence taken here. Actualy Dickeybirds Badabing looks like a nice plane and a beautifull design. I'm going to have to build one someday. Went to my LHS to get the latest FM mag. for the article. Profiles look a little whacky but they sure do build quick, cheap and light, three good qualities when you are a prolofic "crasher" like me!
