TD .010 throttle
Thanks, Dickeybird, for another useful lead in this forum.
In response to one of Milton's recent postings, I contacted Steve Adams for one of his throttles. In literally just a few days, I had my new throttle assembly in the mail: and is it a little jewel!. The assembly comes as a factory fresh .010 cylinder and piston with a precisely machined exhaust ring throttle identical in design to the very successful .020 exhaust throttle. I haven't had time to test it out, yet, but I plan to put mine in a 25" Sterling Eindekker kit that I have had on the shelf for over 30 years. I plan to use Cirrus 5.4 gram servos on rudder, elevator and now throttle with a 50 mah battery pack and suitably small receiver. I'll post details on my progress as I go.
It was a real pleasure doing business with Steve Adams. And thanks, again, to Dickeybird for passing this lead on to us.
PS I, too, signed up with "Micro-Flite" a year ago in November, was told I was on their order list, and then have not heard word one since. Fortunately, I never sent them any money!
Regards, Ben Newkirk
