RE: dead giles
i had an s.c.12 in it which was a little too much but i had it laying around so it went in,and yes we do have nitro fuel and it is expensive-£8.50 for a half gallon of duraglo 10-about $15!

RE: dead giles
bigchap,
Sorry for your loss. I put a Norvel .074 on my Giles and it was a handfull. I guess I had too much throw on the ailerons. I lost it on the third flight when I flew past the sun and lost sight of it for a few seconds.
There is one conversion here for the CAP as far as I know it flew fine.
You can do a search under Wattage Cap to find it. It may have been posted under my thread..Wattage Giles.
I have not flown with my .074 since then except to crash hybrid Giles-Extra.
I have a Lanier Stinger 10 that is about ready to go.
I think this may be a better plane than the Giles.
