Default F15

just got the Aero Tech F15, do you think that you could get RC equip small enough to fit in this with a .049 up front, the Aircraft has a 15 inch wingspan and is 2 foot long, i was thinking of using the tail as ailerons, basically elivons....... any thoughts would be much appreciated....

dawie22, It would be interesting to see it fly after being dropped from a launch vehicle. I wonder how flyable it would be with the tiniest radio gear you can find, but no engine or fuel. There isn't going to be enough lift produced by those stubby little wings to fly much more than the bare model itself.

Why not rip the wings off it and make your own with [much] more area? It would be an impressive looking model that a 1/2A engine could fly. Give it a flat bottom airfoil and about 240 sq. inch of area.
