Sorry Vicman didn't realise Corsair's were painted scale in such a way, I'll try and find a pic of the original then, still wondering how you managed to get such perfect lines between each colour? What did you use to mask the body?

I'm using the single servo system, works fine with little tension - however instead of the little black tubes, I instead opted for the yellow plastic sleeving, normally used to sleeve the elevator/rudder type controls.

Works fine, with minimal slop.

This what your looking for? I used silicone for the first two and have come to apreciate mounting servos w/ silicone makes them do some odd things over time. Now I covered the servo w/ tape and then used probond and stuck those suckers in there. I fly mine just fine w/a 8.4v 730mah NiMh and the stock motor. [X(] However I would not call it overpowered by any means.
Ashley I just used masking tape but had to go back and do quite a bit of touch up. It looks better in the air

Looks great dude, incidently I uprated my battery yesterday from the stock 8.4v 900mah NIMH to a 9.6v Nicad, MUCH better, much more power and flew much better, anything less than that and the planes a twitchy little beast to fly!!

NiMh would be a little lighter, your "twichyness" sounds like you may be off a little on the CG?
I and others have gone with the first injection dot on the wing in leiu of the second with great results.
Oh, here are a few pics of Cook Cleland's F-1G. Sorry about those guys not having color back then.

Go get some brass fuel tubing (or buy a durobro tank). This tubing makes great guide tubes for aliron linkage.

Hey Vicman
Thank you for the pictures of your aileron setup. When I start building it I will post pics
of construction and the finished product.
Take care.

Snap, notice I laid them on their side. If you stand them up you may go thru the wing. BTW they are plugged into a Y harness. The radio gear is the GWS Zero package with an extra servo. If I were to build another one I would forego the rudder and use that servo for the other aileron and save 20 bucks. The only thing it needs a rudder for is a steerable tail wheel. I would not bother with the LG at all.

Have fun!
