I just got a box of micro parts (RFFS100, two 145mAh 2 cell battery packs, a firefly motor, actuators) and want to build a cheap plane to try em out. I have basic plans for a lil' skeeter but would like more detailed instructions/pictures (especially how the magnetic actuators are mounted). Does anyone have these details/photos? Otherwise, I'd like another plane that would work for my first micro (I'd like to fly it in my medium sized backyard).

Hi,
This forum is about fuel burning planes on the small end of things- most planes here are too big to use actuators, at least those little ones you are talking about.. Well maybe a .010 tee dee plane would work..
a better forum to post your question to is the 'indoor and micro' forum on rcgroups.com
Here is a link that might work-[link=http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=85]other forum about teeny electric[/link]
There are sticky threads at the top of that forum that contain mounting info for actuators and other related goodies..
