Keil Kraft Phantom
Does anyone have a plan for one of these little c/l planes, I made one many years ago and spotted this pic of one on the net and decided its time to build another. I posted on the c/l forum, but things are a bit quiet over there at the moment. The Phantom still looks cute, well to me anyway. If you look at picture full size, that might be a Gilbert engine by the look of the exhaust headers.

Hi Bipe, that would be great. Keil Kraft and Veron used to be really big sellers over here a few years back, but now seem to have vanished. Some of their kits were really good. I guess they didn't get on the ARF bandwagon soon enough.

They still appear to be available from the printer.

Hi mr leffe, I after the 21" span control line plane kitted a while back by K.K. The Nexus R/C plan is much bigger, but certainly bears a striking resemblance to the little sheet wing original. I've found a gentleman in the U.K. who can supply a plan. I can't wait for it to arrive. Thanks for your interest.

RE: Keil Kraft Phantom
I posted a plan request a while back, and got a couple of leads, one from New Zealand and one from Britain. Funny how aeromodellers from all over the world help each other out. I've been involved with many sports and pastimes, but model planes seems to be something special. My thanks to NZ Sycthe and a real gentleman in the U.K. named Phil Hansson., who says he has around 800 control line plans from the past. He also helped me out with a plan for a K.K. Marquis stunter that I'll build next. As you can see the Phantom is almost finished, only need to make a fuel tank and fit a canopy and "coke can" cowling. I recommend all to revisit control line every now and then, no batteries or servos required, just have plain and simple fun.
I'll post a few in flight pics when the big day arrives.
