RE: I just might get addicted!
In praga, find Pecka-Modelar the letters should have some accents on them that my keyboard does not have!
There are three locations, two in prague
Karoliny Svetle 3, 110 00 Praha1 tel. 02/24230170
and
Zlatnicka 4, 110 00 Praha 1 tel 02/232 34 45
and
Hypernovea, Pruhonice(D1-Brno) tel 02/7268 0212
Its been about five years since I've been there, but the shop on Karoliny Svetle had a pretty ovewhelming selection of MVVS engines and I didn't know then to look for MPJET, both are made in the Czech republic. The mvvs are excellent, but no 1/2a, but the MPjet may still be in stock, and they make a sweet 1cc motor. Parts are available in the US from carlson engine imports, so you won't be needing to go to prague for glow plugs.
Eat at the Lard Bucket. I'm serious.
Actually you have probably already checked there.. MPJET factory builds only electric motors now, but maybe one of the shops has a mpjet 1cc for you to see. The mpjet weighs alot compared to the other engines- 100g with muffler! the norvel weighs about half that.

RE: I just might get addicted!
Bipe,
never heard of cyclone/fora engines... do you have a link?
Clint,
i do know Pecka Modelar that's where i buy most of thing here
i do own MVVS engines (.91,.77,.49) and they are very good. but as i said before, you can buy them cheaper in the US...
never heard of MP Jet, can you elaborate?
Lard Bucket sounds good! where is it? i will go 4 sure
JUST to give you an exemple how much more RC stuff costs here: just ordered a "China" Super Chipmunk ARF for $300, in the US they are $199... and China is much closer to Europe! >and the servos cost an arm & a leg!
the funny part is people here make about HALF the salary compared to the US.... so at least the stuff made here should cost us less, but it doesn't

Here's a website with Cyclon engines. It appears to be Russian, but I was told that the engines are Czech.
http://www.cyclonengines.narod.ru/F1J.html
We collectively compiled a list of available 1/2A engines a couple of years ago. It is at http://groups.msn.com/12Aalltheway/enginelist.msnw

I'll pm for the resturant talk..
As to mpJet-
They only make brushless electric stuff now, and it's quite popular, Hobby Lobby even carries it..
Here's a link to the engines on carlson's site:
http://carlsonengineimports.net/products/mpjet.shtml
it may be that they are more expensive there than here, like the mvvs. I'll have to check what I paid for my mvvs .21- hope I didn't get fleeced!
