Rog,
I and one or two more will tag along with pt as long as we don't have to hear (again and again) about his third place finish in 2005.

I still need to put together a second plane. I'll bring my Lil' Miss Martha for sure - assuming it survives till the end of September.
Since I love the old, classic pattern ships almost as much as 1/2A I'm tinkering with the idea of a 1/2 scale Daddy Rabbit. How about a Reedy Rabbit? 34" span, 182 sq." area:

From PT to Sneasle:
You got three months to get ready and get to Brunswick! The offer to ride up to the CC gig is still open! Flyswatter can be a little gassy, so as the new guy, you'd have to sit behind him

Hey, last time we made his son-in-law sit back there.[sm=lol.gif] Ok, ok, maybe I was the gassy one. All I remember is he kept locking the windows in the up position and laughing wildly.
Bob, I'm juuust about to PM you!

Well if all Patrick is going to do is kick butt and take names, then I guess that means third place is up for grabs . By the way, what's a "spankerin"?
Bob, I saw the photos of you, your charming family (be sure to tell them I called them, "charming"), and Brian (Fireman) in the Vintage R/C Society news letter coverage of your very successful fly-in. Good job all-around. But am I gonna have to set Bailey down and have a long talk with him about how us 'mature' people are supposed to behave? Hey, I think Dr. Diesel told me once that his fuel will cure anything. Maybe Bailey should rub some on his ankle?
Two questions for my esteemed compatriots in the C 1/2A C . . .
1. Are we gonna do reedie AND unlimited?
2. Will youse-all let me use an OK Cub engine in the reedie race? Pretty please? That way it will give Cox people something to crow about when they beat me. See, I'm just thinking of the other guy's feelings. Aw, ain't I touchy-feely?
3. Anybody up for Aero Ace racing between "real" heats?
4. Is Future floor polish (35%) fuel-proof? What fuel-proofer would work on top of it?
5. I have looked high and low for Weldbond sealer/glue. I thin it and use it for a balsa sealer (its cheap like me). Lowes, home-Depot, Ace hardware and the various 'Marts don't have it. Anyone know where I can replenish my supply?
That was more than two.
Rog, once again thanks for being our host.
Now please excuse me while I figure out how to make time to build a Blink and Sheetface (and a Gnat, and Showmaster, and Nomad, and Guided Mite, and Strader's Profile P-51, and Minimousetang, and where did I put that list . . . )

I shoulda just hit 'delete' and said instead, "Reedie Rabbit lookum might swell." Consider it so.

Thanks, propbuster. I scaled down the cad plans I drew a while back to 50%. I'll be glad to email a copy to you if you want.
LePu, I mean LeFlyer, go ahead and use that OK Cub. I'll use the one I have too, but I'll put the little flimsy red prop that came with it on backwards to at least try and make things fair. Oh, I bought up all the Weldwood in NC. Sorry. I need it for glueing up a bunch more trophy cases.

UH, let's see.......90 days to build something that shouldn't weigh much more than 9 ozs, what does that work out to in terms of ounces per day of progress? 1/10th of an oz per day, if you can't summon enough time and energy to get that done.........better take up stamp collecting .

RE: 90 day red alert crew!
I've got enough beer to finish the Kao-tic tomorrow night. Gotta do something about a DNU and a SWR. Geez, I'm really low on airplanes right now! Oh crap! I got a 90% built Hotfoot downstairs! Hmmm, might be enough beer for both...

That's the spirit! A man who thinks in terms of beers per plane. The reward system, a beer for roughing out the wing, a beer for inlaying a spar, a beer for each aileron linkage, a beer for remembering that the torque rods are to be bent to go inside the fuselage, not stick out the top, a beer for being able to move the torque rods after the glue dries......
