5 fin .049 glow plug
Somehow in my esoteric collection of parts I ended up with a couple ".049 5-fin Glowheads" Cox part number 315. Any idea what these are for? What is their purpose for differeing from standard glowheads? Can I use them as regular glowheads? Bonus question...where did I get them from (please tell me because I sure don't know)?
Thanks,
Rob

The 5 fin glow heads are for the Cox Texaco engine, they are like a BabyBee head with extra fins to get rid of the extra heat generated when useing larger props -7-8". If you dont fly 1/2A Texaco then your better off selling them and putting the money towards other more suitable heads.

Would you like to unload some of those nasty 5-fin heads, Bogateer? It would be a shame to waste them on something they're not intended for.
Where did they come from? I don't know, but I have a bunch of 1/2A parts that I don't remember buying, either...they just sorta turn up!
