I have what I think is a Cub 024 crank. PM me your snail mail address and I will send it to you. No use to me.

I am thinking that the whole Cub .024 was reproduced about 5-6 years ago by someone. There was discussion about it in RCM about then too.

It certainly wasn't a powerhouse. I think the Cox .020 had more poop.

The K&B infant 0.020 was reproduced a few years ago - but probably more than 6 or 7 but I don't remember anything aobut the OK cub.

No, read about it (thinking) in RCM or someplace. The Repro Cub .024 was going to be made by some firm based in one of the great Northeastern states. The review mentioned that the new engine was better than the original in many respects. The cost was however near $100 each. The new firm was not in production, but was instead taking orders. They had about 25 or so confirmed orders, which did not quite pay for the tooling.

I only saw the ad and mentioned once. My thought is that the investors backed out, and it became a orphan. Sounds as if the new firm wanted to speculate into the vintage market.

Todd,

contact Dan Sitter, he goes by the name of coxmania on Ebay. I think he had some spares for the Cub .024 at one stage. Might not have any now but worth trying.

Todd, you may want to try OK Cub Engines. They were still selling parts for these a few years ago. I have 2 .024s running now and picked up a glow plug and a needle valve from them. Try [email protected] I recall talking to a nice lady about spare parts.

Good Luck!
