Thanks,

RE: Glow head gaskets
Cox doesn't make IC engines anymore
Rob,
I emailed Cox about this and I was told straight that Cox does not make engines and has not made engines for a long time. They only assemble engines from existing parts. A strange thing to say but there you have it. If you want parts, Sure Starts or production engines from them then I would suggest you not wait too long, by the sound of that.

Surely there's got to be a bootleg supply somehere? These could shut down Cox operations...or am I just beign alarmist?
The COX and NORVEL head gaskets are interchangable -- both the newer REVLITE and older AAN model NORVELs. Since the AP Wasp is a knockoff of the older NORVEL, those should work also.
Hobby People has the [link=http://www.hobbypeople.net/gallery/212427.asp]AP gaskets [/link] in stock -- 2 for .$90.

Plus $7.99 shipping, so that's $1.08 ea.[:'(] Rob, unless you need great quantities, I'll stick a regular envelope in the mail with some in it. The envelope is already labeled, just gotta stick the gaskets in there this afternoon.

RE: Glow head gaskets
Don't be too thankful yet! I can't find my organizer![:@] It has all my glow plugs in it, too. A handful of Nelsons, two N. 074's, two N. 061's, and three or four TD heads. Where in world did I sit it?! All I did was clean up my flight box and repack it... a couple weeks ago. I think I'm going to cry. That and try to pull a hundred dollar bill out of my *** to replace it. Naw, I'll find it tonight. It will be easy if they're right next to the beer.
