I can’t believe I actually took this. Stumbled on to it while looking for another pic. BAD! I challenge any one to top it!

When my shop gets that bad, everybody leaves while I clean up. Nobody wants to be a target... At the moment, my "office" is getting cleared out for completion, so all my stuff is spread out over a thousand square feet of shop... Nope, I ain't taking no pictures!

Here's mine. I recently moved into an apratment, the better half frowns on airplanes at the dinner table so I built up this 36" workbench that fits inside one half of a closet - so I can just close the door on the mess. It's nice to have the space to work, but it gets messy quickly. Fortunatley it cleans up almost as quickly.

Wow Ragwing, I guess them 45cc Chainsaw Spads are on hold for a while with a shop like that.
ok, I'm renting a room in a house, so the RC Workshop has my bed in it.... come to think of it, I guess it is the IT department too since my computer is here.
Notice my test fit of the 3blade props on one of the 12pack of aluminum cowls my landlord drinks, SierraNevada & SamAdams dont make good cowls.

I sure wish I had pictures of my "shop" when my wife and I lived in a one bedroom apartment. Let me set the scene. It was our first place, 700 square feet of newlywed crib. We had a tiny kitchen and right beside it was the dining area (notice I didn't say room). It was never used for dining. It held my building board (a flattened cardboard box) and nearly all my other stuff. I say nearly because my scroll saw just wouldn't fit up there. For that matter neither would my box of covering and scap balsa. The scroll saw sat neatly in the floor between the kitchen and the dining area/ workshop. Except the neatness is really just a figure of speech... that is unless you consider saw dust an appropriate floor covering. Now that I think about it....boy I have a patient wife!

Oh man. Earlier today, you couldn't even walk through to my chair without stepping on something. But I had to clean it, because BOTH the cleaning lady AND my mom were present at the house at the same time. What this means is the lady is there and her job would be easier if I cleaned, and my mom is there saying if I don't clean then she will throw away everything on my table.

Steward,
I bought it off ebay on a whim a couple of years ago, because I always wanted to build one from the original plans from the Mag. It was such a good deal w/ the Cox .049 TD that I went for it. It had never been flown I do not believe, because the wing had to be glued on when I got it and the pushrod tubes were not set up. I took off the Cox and installed a Norvel .074 w/ the Cox 3 blade square edge pusher and tried it. The Norvel is not fully broken in and had a fit w/ the starting, because of the new engine and the tough starting angle w/ the custom starter. Did fly it twice and the plane is a bit heavy ( can't remember the weight ) by todays standards, but I think w/ a well tuned and broken in .074 it would fly well. I got tired w/ the starting issues and put it off for other projects thinking I would get back to it right away, but as you can see from the amount of planes never got back to it. I will some day as I enjoy odd planes.
Do you have one?
On another note- I tried to contact somebody downunder looking looking for a 3 bladed Cox prop for a fan trainer and found one for that person, but was never able to contact same. Don't know what happened to that modeler.

RE: I’ll show you mine if you’ll show us you yours!
Fireman,
What do I get?- What do I get?
Not sure I really want to win that award, but I get so involved w/ projects that I forget to clean up for awhile. I sometimes have 3 or 4 projects going at once.
I have a Wattage electric bipe ( getting a HP .15 ) on one table- a .30 size bipe arf behind that- on the other table a two Cox warbirds- one brushless and one w/ std set up - than a framed up ready to cover 4 channel DR1 micro tri-plane behind that w/ new plans for a brushless micro racer about 20" span in front of the Coxes. To much to do- Plus I am building a Relica MG TD in the Garage ( did not show that mess ) plus 4 kids and a wife and job. How to do it all?

Is it too late to join this thread? Unfortunately I "cleaned up" before I read this. I don't know if I can compete, but I'm headed down the right path!
