I stopped at a hobby store today, one I don't get to visit often any more, and found that they still had something I had been eyeing before. Finally broke down and decided to buy it.

That's about a 6 hour drive for me. Probably not practical but for special occasions. I got it thinking I'd put it in the La-7 I'm still working on from the design contest. I already had an A6R, but was concerned about a higher revving engine (with a slightly smaller prop) in a big scale radial cowl.

I think its a pretty special event. I only leave the hood to go to three events a year two of them are Rog's and the other is Joe Nall for a day.
This year is pretty special tho, I am going out to CALIFORNIA baby and fly with the Revver Brotherhood for the Revvers II in October.
Rog's events are a total blast. Other than being bummed about having to leave at the end of the day it is one of the best days of the year for me. The crew are a great bunch to spend a day with.

Pretty Special--
At least enough for me to get into a car with pt for 7 hours (each way) and having him telling me about the trophy he won last year! I will be lucky if he doesn't bring it with him and tape it to the dash!

Tim, FYI, I was score keeper at the only event where we actually had some decent racing. Yes Blimpy got Terd place metal. Metal none the less indeed (anything counts in GA). Anyone who was capable of getting a reedie to run and endure to the end did indeed deserve recognition. Shoot Hollis even *****d his winning Sharkface (by default I may add) racer to swapmeet goers as a race winner. I happen to know the fortunate present owner
. Still one of the best days of the year in Vicman's shallow life. Come and have a good time, Ya gotta be here to understand.

Vic:
If you fly, then how can you call the pole and let pt win "terd" place again? If you do call the pole, then this time you should call pt's turn after he has traveled about 1/4 mile past the pole. That would seem to be fair.
