Default Carolina 1/2A Crew strikes again (and again, and again,. . . )

Dear Youse-all,

Over the past 30+ years I've been an AMA card-carrier I've been a member of several clubs, flown with many FF, CL, and R/C groups. I've got to tell you this is the first time I've ever felt PROUD to be counted as part of bunch of model airplane BUILDERS and FLYERS. You folks really impress the heck out of me with your humor and talent. Thank you all (oops, I meant youse-all).

Here's my favorite shot from the day. It may look like a serious moment - but you hadda be there. If you missed today- you REALLY missed it!

By the way, that's my knee in the foreground NOT my closely tonsored skull!

Captions anyone?

Wasn't that right before Vicman crashed?

Caption? Put one of those cartoon like clouds out of Vics' head, like in the funny papers. Then plug in," This thing better run out of fuel ASAP before I crap my pants!!"

Oh, that's right CP - I had forgotten that you've flown with Vic before.

RLF, you must have won today or else you would be furnishing the report? You are right, I've flown with Vic, but he never crapped his pants, just tinkled .

First off, Bob got my CL cherry right there and my close freind Raymond caught the moment.
I was not worried at all about soiling me breeches. I was more concerned about the return trip of the hot dog and where it would land. [sm=52_52.gif]

Why Patrick, you handled the handle handily I thought. Of course what happened at the other end of the line was a horse of another colour. By the way, are you sore anywhere?

pt - look on the bright side. You had one of the "mightest" crashes of the day! It is a good thing that you did not land on the plane!

Did anyone get pictures of pt's u-control skills? I am sure pt would want to share those dizzying memories with the forum.

I spent my hard earned lunch to make it easier to put names to faces for those of us who could not attend.

That's a great team photo! Vicman looks kind of wasted, though. Do you guys have a breathalizer?
