RE: ENYA 06?
There are a couple of version of the Enya .06 that I know about - reed valve, and front rotary valve.
I have the reed valve version. It's in good condition but no powerhouse, it's 40 odd years old. Probably about the same power as a Baby Bee, but not so noisy. Very nicely built.

RE: ENYA 06?
It is said to be a nice little engine. Turning a 7x3 at 14,000rpm or so. This is the diesel version in this picture I found but the glow looks the same just with a plug sticking out the top insterad of the tommy bar. As far as I know they are not imported into the USA so those that are state side are brought in while traveling overseas or sent by out of country friends.

RE: ENYA 06?
Richmond RC apparently has them, I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with the RC glow version...

I love 1/2A, but c'mon - WHY can't we have good throttle response, and at least a muffler that BOLTS on? Wire clippy doodads just don't cut it....

Thanks for that link, dt. It seems like MRC totally dropped the ball as far as Enya goes. Properly marketed and distributed I think Enya could do well in the US. The rest of the world seems to like buying them. At $46.95 that 09 is a great deal. Cheaper than an LA .10.

RE: ENYA 06?
hmmm - comparing the specs, it's a LOT heavier than an AP .061, and apparently doesn't perform as well (assuming both engines perform as advertised).
Enya .06: weight, 90g - RPM, 14,800
AP .061: weight 54g, RPM, 25,000

I suspect when an AP turns 25,000, it will be due to adding two tach readings together.
