Default Another Herr 30" Piper question.

As I mentioned, I am building a Herr 30" Super Piper(rubber power) for use with my Cannon micro unit. I plan on using my Cox .050 w/throttle but the engine might be a bit too powerful. Along with governing it at 2/3 throttle, would a thin pitched prop help reduce the power? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. ps....has anyone out there done this? Thanks

Default RE: Another Herr 30" Piper question.

Steve,
I built the Herr rubber powered L-19 and installed the Cox .020 Pee Wee w/ 2 channel ( rudder & elev ) and it flys very well. Cox 051 td would be over powered and heavy- this is a very light plane. Let me know if you need a Pee Wee .20 - I am sure we can work some thing out- it is the least I can do for someone laid up for 5 months.
