Hell Dickeybird, With that thread name, I thought you were going to ask for a recount in the Cox/Norvel poll!
Well, this is my skinny yankee butt. There's a funny story behind this pic: I called the Ruskies and told them I wanted to mail-order me a beautiful Russian Model and the durn hicks sent me this instead!

Whew, incriminating pictures............
Where the heck did you get that pic Milton????
Actually, though I originally learned on Mode 1, I now fly both Mode 1 and Mode 2..............(primarily mode 1, in truth all you mode 2 people are backwards)
I am gonna guess that the pic Milton put up is at least 14-15 years old.
The pic below was taken last summer. (yes, the camera is now broken.)

Well shoot, guys, guess I'm just a computer illiterate. Just for grins, I clicked on the "X" in my first reply, and the picture opened up. So, I guess it's on here even though it doesn't show. Don't ask me, I dunno...

Incriminating photos...........
I dug out the old shoebox full of funfly and pylon race photos from years past and look what I found .
The tall guy would be none other than Dickeybird. The short guy would be me. In the pic, I am 11 yrs old..... That makes this pic 17 years old......ARGGGGGGHHH
I don't remember what I was flying, but I am sure it was a glider. I am pretty sure Dickeybird is flying his trusty Telemaster glider tug-which he still flies.
hehehehehehehe

How Many .049's to Fly the Minimax?
It takes exactly 200 stock Tee Dee .049's to fly the Minimax (assuming .14 HP each)! The noise would be a big problem, not to mention getting all of the needles synched!

My-My, but how the mighty have fallen.

An pic from exactly one year ago. A little big for this forum, it was before I got into 1/2A. I sold the Ultimate recently because it was too big! I now love 1/2A, I have had more fun with little engines than any other. The Lite Machine and the little airplanes are much more fun.

Here is my little electric biplane that was really brought to life with the Norvel .061. I designed it for electric but it had no problem with the glow, but it didn't like the fuel and exhaust. So I am almost finished with a 34" P-47. Look for a thread when it is done.
